Bank in School
In 2018 Adams State Bank partnered with the Freeman FBLA to open an educational bank branch located at Freeman Public School. Bank in School is designed specifically for elementary students to have the opportunity to open their own savings accounts to make regular deposits each week. While students are saving, they earn prizes based on the achievement of reaching savings goals and hitting milestones. At the completion of 6th grade, the students will receive a check for their entire amount save.
The Bank Tellers are Freeman FBLA students who are hired and trained as bank tellers. The Bank in School Freeman Falcons branch is open to take deposits every Tuesday morning throughout the school year.
